Standard Chartered Bank are looking for innovative ways to provide value to their customers by supporting emerging technologies.
To this end, we looked at Microsoft's Kinect development platform to explore how gestural inputs could make sense as a method of interacting with ones financial information.
As a proof of concept, we took existing sample data of the iPhones global usage to construct meaningful visualizations users could potentially interact with in order to compare and analyse information in new ways.
This was an experimental design excersise to help Standard Chartered Bank visualize an interactive financial system that could be accessed using hand gestures.
Using live data from global iPhone sales we devised an interface where the user can manipulate the content simply by using their hands. Instead of an on-screen cursor or directional arrows, a user can interact with the data itself to explore.
